The First Ever Taiwan Pavilion in Edinburgh Summer Festivals is Launched
This summer Edinburgh will welcome 11 splendid performing art groups from Taiwan. These groups will showcase their performances in the renowned Edinburgh International Festival (EIF), Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival and Edinburgh Festival Fringe. There are so many symbolic moments in this intimate work by Taiwan’s Water Reflection Dance Ensemble, that your mind races trying to figure them all out. It’s not until the end, however, when choreographer Hui-Chen Tan invites you to ask questions and pass comment in the foyer, that you find out. Which, in some ways, is too late.

Ah, the classic boy-meets-overcoat tale. A civil servant discovers that his old overcoat isn’t protecting him from the St. Petersburg cold so he saves up his roubles to go and see a tailor.
